West scored on a
Brett Ojiyi touchdown run, a touchdown pass by
Zach Heeger and a touchdown run by
Nate Kutaka in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a Ojiyi touchdown run in the first quarter, WHS led 39-0 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 39 at the start of the fourth.
Torrance's only touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Sean Luna in the third quarter.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 29-21 win for the Warriors.
Torrance (0-2) goes up against Palos Verdes Peninsula in a non-conference game matchup next week, while West (2-0) locks horns with El Segundo also in a non-conference game.
