Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Ropes Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a hard 28-13 fall against Ralls on Thursday. Ropes has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kade Franklin threw for 157 yards and a touchdown. Reese Williams was his top target, picking up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Jacob Wyatt rushed for 27 yards.
Ropes' loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Ralls, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
Ropes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ralls will face off against Gruver at TBD on Friday. One thing working in Gruver's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
