It was a good run, but the Person Rockets unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 77-70 to Southern Alamance. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), Person still had to take the loss.
Chris Epps was his usual excellent self, scoring 35 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Southern Alamance. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Epps has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Moore, who scored six points along with ten assists and seven rebounds.
Person dropped their record down to 12-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Southern Alamance, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Orange the next time they take the court. Person will host the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
