Etiwanda had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the La Quinta Blackhawks with a sharp 10-1 victory on Monday. The Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight dating back to last season.
Alyssa Galindo made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched.
