The Will Rogers College Ropers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edison. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Will Rogers College in their matchups with Edison: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Will Rogers College saw an underclassman step up: Dkarrion Titsworth scored 17 points. Branden Crosslen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds.
Will Rogers College's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Will Rogers College will challenge Sapulpa at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sapulpa is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
