If Ellison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dyett, they should've done a better job of containing Jerremiah Jackson. The Eagles strolled past the Lions with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 62-44 thanks in part to Jackson, who shot 50% from the field en route to 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game.

Another player making a difference was Daivon Dabbs, who posted seven points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Dyett's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Ellison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Dyett has already played their next contest, a 59-29 defeat against Kenwood on the 4th. As for Ellison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-46 victory against Orr on the 3rd.
