Desert Hills is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Dixie, who was ranked 24th at the time (Desert Hills was ranked 16th). The Thunder never let the Flyers get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jaxton Tolman tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Harmon Skeen was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Williams, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Desert Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dixie only posted an OBP of .333.
Desert Hills' victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Dixie, they dropped their record down to 12-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Dixie's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Desert Hills has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .475.
