Christ the King lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Marco Tampoya, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Tampoya scored a full 30.4% of Christ the King's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Parker Ryan was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Christ the King now has a losing record at 5-6. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
