Meanwhile, Big Sandy had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Ore City 96-59 at home. Big Sandy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by 29 points or more this season.
Big Sandy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Smith, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 3 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Big Sandy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ka'myrie Fountain, who scored 18 points along with six steals and five assists.
Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Big Sandy, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
