Parkersburg Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They strolled past New Life Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 39-23. The win was just what Parkersburg Christian needed coming off of a 56-28 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Wood County Christian had to suffer through a rough 69-12 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wood County Christian has scored all season.
Parkersburg Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Wood County Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home.
Parkersburg Christian suffered a grim 47-21 defeat to the Wildcat when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can Parkersburg Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
