Big Game from Nevil As Sports Leadership & Management Won 42-6
Starting off the list is Sports Leadership & Management's Damien Nevil, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Nevil rushed for 131 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.
Unfortunately for Boulder City, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Nevil. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Nevil saw the Eagles), he rushed for 187 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry.

Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns from Kayne Horibe
Kayne Horibe continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least three passing touchdowns. He threw for 190 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 80 yards on only six carries.
The victory got Pahrump Valley back to even at 4-4. Horibe and Pahrump Valley will host Boulder City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Drew Dixon Dazzles in Virgin Valley Victory
Drew Dixon's big game helped extend Virgin Valley's winning streak to five on Friday. Dixon did his part (and then some), rushing for 120 yards and three touchdowns for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Virgin Valley pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Dixon and Virgin Valley will challenge Moapa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Young Posts Huge Game in 42-6 Win
The second Sports Leadership & Management player making an appearance here is Alaijah Young, and for good reason. He rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 42 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
For the year, Young has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 120.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after nine games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to four.

Hopkinson Made His Presence Known in Boulder City's 42-6 Loss
Gage Hopkinson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Hopkinson might have his next game, a home matchup with Pahrump Valley, circled on his calendar. Hopkinson threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.
