Several Red Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Spencer Whitfield, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Ryan Sechler was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Leading North Star to victory were CJ Biery and Ethan Smith. Biery went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 3 assists, while Smith almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Biery has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brady Weimer, who scored 14 points.
Meyersdale's loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-19. As for North Star, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
