The Bloomfield Bobcats will head out to face off against the Miyamura Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Miyamura likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, Bloomfield made easy work of Shiprock and carried off an 11-1 victory. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Chieftains recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Elias Munoz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Munoz was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Bloomfield got a big performance out of Troy Jaramillo, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Jaramillo a new career-high. Damien Jaramilla also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Bloomfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shiprock only posted an OBP of .238.
Meanwhile, Miyamura posted their closest victory since March 14th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rehoboth Christian, sneaking past 8-7.
The team relied heavily on Benny Vargas, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Hayden Vidal, who earned two runs and one stolen base.
Bloomfield's record is now 12-7. As for Miyamura, their record now sits at 9-11.
Bloomfield beat Miyamura 11-7 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
