Warsaw and Plymouth are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Tigers will face off against the Pilgrims/Rockies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Warsaw has given up an average of 10.6 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Warsaw managed to slip by Goshen the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 14-4 to the RedHawks on Wednesday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Raegan Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Lilly Carman also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Plymouth let Concord stack four runs on them in the third inning on Wednesday but luckily Plymouth prevailed anyway. The Pilgrims/Rockies came out on top against the Minutemen by a score of 7-4.
Gracie Patrick made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Patrick was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Plymouth let Haylee Busse and Lexi Pike run wild. Busse got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Pike went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Busse a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Derifield, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Plymouth hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Concord struck out seven times.
Warsaw now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Plymouth, their record is now 6-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warsaw has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Plymouth struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Warsaw couldn't quite finish off Plymouth in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
