The Hartsville Red Foxes will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the South Florence Bruins at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Hartsville entered their tilt with Wilson with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hartsville snuck past Wilson with a 54-49 win on Friday.
Hartsville can attribute much of their success to Tatiana Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds, and Brooke Mitchell, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Mitchell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chaniya Thompson, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, South Florence beat West Florence 55-47 on Friday.
Hartsville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for South Florence, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Everything went Hartsville's way against South Florence in their previous matchup on January 5th as Hartsville made off with a 58-33 victory. Does Hartsville have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Florence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
