Henderson County typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Apollo proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Colonels. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Apollo's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Henderson County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-13 record this season.

The last six games the Fighting Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Henderson County, they will challenge Madisonville-North Hopkins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Maroons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Colonels' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
