Hilltop Christian hasn't had much luck against Southside Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Emma Williams and Anna Matthews scored both of Hilltop Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Southside Christian kept a clean sheet against Fayetteville Christian two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Fayetteville Christian as they made off with a 5-0 win.

Hilltop Christian's draw gives them a new season record of 5-2-1. As for Southside Christian, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Hilltop Christian might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Southside Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Hilltop Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
