Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Captain Shreve to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Guinn, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Guinn is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Jyrin Sowell, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Captain Shreve is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Benton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-15.
Captain Shreve will take on the Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Haughton is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Benton, they will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
