The Macon County Tigers 's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They fell 74-67 to White House. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (55), Macon County still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White House to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Richardson, who went 9 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 1 assist. It was the first time this season that Richardson scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Worrell, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists.
Macon County's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-17. As for White House, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Station Camp the next time they take the court. Macon County will head out to face Station Camp at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while White House will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
