Rahzel Ewart was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Andre Gyabaah, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tegin Hedrick, who posted 23 points. Hedrick's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landin Newton, who scored 16 points.
Lexington now has a winning record of 8-7. As for East Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
Lexington will head out on the road to take on South Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for East Davidson, they will be playing at home against Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
