The Swainsboro Tigers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let Metter onto the board and left with a 20-0 win on Friday. The victory was just what Swainsboro needed coming off of a 41-20 defeat in their prior game.
Swainsboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Qindaruis Brown, who rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Jordon Williams also helped out as he racked up 134 rushing yards.
Swainsboro's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Metter, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Swainsboro will take on Lamar County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lamar County is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Metter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
