St. Mary extended the longest winning streak in North Jersey - Patriot this week by beating Park Ridge, 47-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Gaels.
St. Mary took down the Owls 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Weehawken's dynamic duo of Oliver Molano and Dante Cieri proved tough for Wood-Ridge to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Molano threw for 64 yards and one touchdown and Cieri had 44 yards receiving. Devereaux Blanco helped Weehawken's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
Edwin Fiscal was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 245 yards as Bogota defeated the Blue Devils. Teammate Gordon Kohles added to the ground attack by rushing for 139 yards.
Wallington's Ryan Adzima and Jason Zajaczkowski have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Adzima has thrown for 772 yards this season, while Zajaczkowski, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 19 catches for 517 yards. Weehawken's Damian Corredor leads the league in rushing yards with 1017.
The top two teams in North Jersey - Patriot will face off this week when first place St. Mary takes on second place Weehawken. Mike Sheridan's team beat Park Ridge last week, while the Indians bested Wood-Ridge.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Weehawken takes on the Gaels. The Indians' offense has racked up 183 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while St. Mary has allowed only 62 on the year.
Weehawken made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,417 from 7,754. The advance stemmed from a 41-0 victory over Eric Magrini's team last week.
