Rock Canyon extended their losing streak  to six  on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They took a  blow against the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles, falling  54-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the  70-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 Evan Diebold threw for 86 yards and one  TD.   Kai Ingrassia was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and one  touchdown.
As for Mountain Vista, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won seven games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
  Marquise Reese continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 365 yards and six  TDs while completing 72% of his passes, and also punching in one  score on the ground. Those  six  passing touchdowns gave  him a new career-high.  Sammy Brown was in the mix  as well, providing Mountain Vista with two touchdowns.
 Rock Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  42-7  defeat against Valor Christian on the 30th. As for Mountain Vista, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  56-7  victory against Castle View on the 30th.
