The International Community Comets will be playing at home against the Pathways Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. International Community is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
Last Tuesday, International Community came up short against Faith Christian and fell 54-42.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Gavin Philips, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Paxton Boaz, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Pathways waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They managed a 42-36 win over Cornerstone Charter Academy. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Pathways has scored all year.
International Community has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Pathways, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
