East Central has gone 9-1 against Vancleave recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. East Central will look to defend their home field against Vancleave at 6:30 p.m. East Central will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
East Central's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Gautier with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Abby Danis made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since March 1st.

In other batting news, Kailee Lawson was incredible, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Lizzy Kennedy was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
East Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in seven consecutive games.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Vancleave and Stone had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Vancleave took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stone on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Tomcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Brooklyn Howard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on nine hits.
On the hitting side, Vancleave saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brenley Hunter, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
East Central's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Vancleave, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
Everything went East Central's way against Vancleave in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as East Central made off with a 9-0 victory. Will East Central repeat their success, or does Vancleave has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
