The Community Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against New Bloomfield, falling 70-41. The game was a close 21-18 at the break, but unfortunately for Community it sure didn't stay that way.
Leading New Bloomfield to victory were Nathan Fuhriman and Jacob Fuhriman. Fuhriman scored 21 points along with six rebounds, while Fuhriman scored 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Andrew Fouch was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Community has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for New Bloomfield, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community will face off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Bloomfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Sturgeon at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sturgeon is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
