Jefferson dropped their record down to 11-13 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They lost 14-3 to the Hononegah Indians. For Hononegah's part, Samantha Nosbisch looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Nosbisch has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kaelyn Kelly was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Alexis Eich was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three doubles, and one run.
