Arellano has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Agustin Jaime was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Sheridan bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road. As for The Pinnacle, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will square off against Englewood at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Dominic Dever and Bobby Garcia. As for The Pinnacle, they will head out on the road to challenge Jefferson at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jefferson has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4.
