Soccer Recap: Saugatuck Has No Trouble Against Parchment

Saugatuck barely beat Parchment the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trailblazers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 7-1 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Saugatuck, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Dante Holley and Charlie Robison scored all seven of Saugatuck's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Saugatuck is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those six games. As for Parchment, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saugatuck will challenge South Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parchment, they will welcome Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
