Strom Thurmond got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Quan Edmond out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Roosevelt Walker, who scored 14 points.
Strom Thurmond is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Emerald, they bumped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
