North Pole added to the longest winning streak in Southeast this week by beating Lathrop, 24-13. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Ketchikan's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Kings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Connor Hicks has thrown for 48 yards and 1 touchdown this season, while Noah Silva has 6 catches for 68 yards. Hicks also leads the league in rushing with 1,388 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between North Pole and Ketchikan. Richard Henert's team comes into the matchup ranked seventh in the state, while the Kings ranks 22nd.
There should be lots of points scored when the Patriots and Ketchikan face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, North Pole comes in having scored 40 this season, while Lester Silva's team has scored 168. The Patriots scored 24 points last week as they topped the Malemutes.
Juneau-Douglas led Southeast in scoring this week by notching 57 points on Thunder Mountain.
