Basketball Game Preview: Windsor Academy Knights vs. Strong Rock Christian Patriots

Windsor Academy is 0-3 against Strong Rock Christian since December of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Windsor Academy Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Strong Rock Christian Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Windsor Academy will be strutting in after a win while Strong Rock Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 11 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Windsor Academy turned things around against Rock Springs Christian Academy on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 54-22 victory over Rock Springs Christian Academy. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Audrey Dobson and Savannah Roberts were among the main playmakers for Windsor Academy as the former dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 boards and the latter dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Roberts a new career-high in points. Kyndall Bowen was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Windsor Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 35 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Strong Rock Christian's undefeated season came to an end after ten games on Friday. They fell 53-42 to Mount de Sales Academy. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

Windsor Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Strong Rock Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Windsor Academy might still be hurting after the 45-22 defeat they got from Strong Rock Christian in their previous meeting on December 5th. Can Windsor Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
