Morgan Daniels posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Daniels' strong effort led McKinley over Canton South and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
