If East Prairie wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sikeston, they should've done a better job of containing Londyn Mitchell. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Monday thanks in part to Mitchell, who had 31 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Sikeston had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-22.

Sikeston is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-14-1 record this season. As for East Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-15-1.

Sikeston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Prairie, they will head out on the road to take on Caruthersville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
