Last Friday wasn't at all kind to Towns County, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Andrews, sneaking past 21-19. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
The victory bumped Towns County's record up to 2-1. The loss dropped Andrews' record to 1-3.
Next week Towns County take on George Walton Academy at 7:30 PM. Andrews will look to defend their home turf against North Georgia at 7:30 PM.
