Jones Came Up Big in St. Petersburg's 33-28 Defeat
Starting off the list is St. Petersburg's Jeffery Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 75 yards and a touchdown. Keatin Emener produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northeast to the win on Friday. Emener rushed for 12 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 137 yards and a touchdown.
Northeast moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Emener and Northeast will face off against Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
