Grace Christian Academy fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Middle Tennessee Christian on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.
Meanwhile, Goodpasture Christian waltzed into their game on Saturday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ezell-Harding Christian 62-26 on the road. Goodpasture Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.
Grace Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Goodpasture Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
