The Columbia Wildcats extended their postseason success on Friday against the Poplarville Hornets. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 28-21. The win was just business as usual for Columbia, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Despite the loss, Poplarville still got an impressive performance from Lane Amacker, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Columbia's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Poplarville, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
Columbia is on the road again on December 2nd and play against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Louisville will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Poplarville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
