Volleyball Recap: Comp Sci Extends Winning Streak to Four

Comp Sci had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Comp Sci never let Academy of Aerospace and Engineering on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22, 25-13.

Comp Sci had a senior duo take command as Michael Thorpe had 15 kills and two blocks and Jordan Wright had 27 assists. Thorpe is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least seven every time he's taken the court this season.

Comp Sci's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Comp Sci does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against CREC [Civic Leaderdship/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering/Metropolitan Learning Center] on the 13th.
