Miller City scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Patrick Henry Patriots by a score of 12-11. Even though they lost, the Wildcats' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.6 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Peyton Michel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey David, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Miller City dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Patrick Henry, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Miller City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-4 win against Kalida on the 1st. As for Patrick Henry, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-2 victory against Van Buren on the 1st.
