 Campo Verde found their leader in sophomore  Kendal Kellar, who  had 14  digs and four  assists.  Jenna Stecker also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.
Meanwhile, Arizona College Prep came up short against Notre Dame Prep on Wednesday and fell  3-1. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost five in a row.
 Arizona College Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-18,  27-25.
 Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17-2. As for Campo Verde,  the  win  got them back to even at 16-16.
 Campo Verde beat Arizona College Prep 3-1  when the teams last played  back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
