Maine West came tearing into Wednesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Maine East Blue Demons by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win back in April.

Maine West not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Maine East between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

Adrian Kleszczewski paced Maine West's offense, picking up seven kills. Kleszczewski got some help from Peter Dempsey and his 25 assists. Luis Alvarez-Perez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Maine West pushed their record up to 30-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Maine East, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Maine West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maine East, they will take on Saint Viator at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
