Mia Beavers was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Beavers was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chagrin Falls has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Gilmour Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Chagrin Falls suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Gilmour Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2021. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
