Flat Rock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Graham Junge, who scored 13 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Junge has scored at least 25% of Flat Rock's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Giroux, who scored 6 points along with 5 steals.
Flat Rock's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flat Rock will take on Erie-Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to face off against Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
