Garfield Heights' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stacia Mobley, who went 9 of 15 en route to 24 points. The match was Mobley's third in a row with at least ten points. Journey Rencher was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

Garfield Heights has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
