The North Sevier Wolves lost against the North Summit Braves back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. North Sevier was outmatched by North Summit on the road and fell 69-24. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Sevier in their matchups with North Summit: they've now lost four in a row.
North Summit's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chezlie Langston, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. Langston hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Hartlynn Richins, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
North Sevier's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for North Summit, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-2.
North Sevier will be playing at home against Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Duchesne will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something North Sevier surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Summit, they will head out on the road to face off against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Summit is coming into the game with 14 straight wins on the road, meaning Gunnison Valley will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
