Given Faith Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Conway Christian is ranked 244th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Wardlaw Academy can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-6 win over King Academy on the road.
Colt Bailey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 143 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Bailey was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards. Addison Faust made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Faith Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for Wardlaw Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Faith Christian took their victory against Wardlaw Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 by a conclusive 40-16. Will Faith Christian repeat their success, or does Wardlaw Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
