The Mansfield Tigers will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Prescott Curley Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Mansfield's defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so Prescott's offense will have their work cut out for Prescott.
Mansfield extended their postseason success on Friday against Salem. They managed a 26-22 victory over the Greyhounds.
Meanwhile, Prescott came tearing into Friday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 42-13 win over Bismarck on the road. Considering Prescott has won eight contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was Jah'noah Harris, who rushed for 194 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Harris was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. Decari Prater made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Another reason for the win was Prescott's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Jamarion Burton and his two sacks.
Their wins bumped Mansfield to 11-2 and Salem to 11-1.
