Naselle won the last time they faced Oakville and things went their way on Monday too. The Comets blew past the Acorns 23-8. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won five matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Naselle is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Oakville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naselle will challenge Lake Quinault at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Comets are facing the Elks at the right time seeing as the Elks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Oakville, they will host Wishkah Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Loggers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Acorns surely won't give up without a fight.
