Gulf Coast HEAT's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Steven Scott led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Scott is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Westin Lacey, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Halifax Academy's loss ended a 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
